Free Surgical Operations of 23 Patients

The medical mission of professor Valenti ended successfully with free surgical operations of 23 children.

Professor Valenti together with his French medical team travelled to Iran to visit 130 children with hand disorders including Brachial plexus on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute.

Following this clinic, the orthopedic surgical operations of patients scheduled for surgery began immediately at Children Medical center.

The surgeries were carried out by the French medical team headed by Professor Philip Valenti in cooperation with the medical team of Tehran University of Medical Sciences on Saturday and Sunday in which 23 children underwent technical operations at no costs.

At the end of his mission to Iran, Professor Valenti expressed his satisfaction with the healthcare facilities and efforts of Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute in providing treatment care for children, hoping for the continuation of it. He also expressed happiness over the cooperation of local Iranian doctors.

Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute has served 12800 children with orthopedic, cardiac and reconstructive problems regardless of religion, ethnicity and nationality. The institute hosts free diagnostic clinics every year and establishes bilateral cooperation programs between local and international physicians, creating an educational environment in order to develop pediatrics in Iran.
