Meeting with Iranian and Foreign Diplomats to Report on Treatment Challenges in Refugee Children and to Present the Pediatric Hospital Project
Maryam Marashi, Managing Director of Zanjireh Omid charity institute presented the project and accomplishments of Zanjireh Omid in details at this public meeting. This event was held with attendance of key figures including: Maryam Ammanieh (the spouse of Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iranian foreign minister), the ambassador of Spain to Iran, the deputy of French embassy, the Spouse of Australia's ambassador to Iran, the representative of WHO, the chairman and members of Swiss and French chamber of commerce, Senior Melli Bank officials, Health ministry board of trustees, the mayor of district 11 ( in company with mayors of area 4 and 15), volunteer doctors of Zanjireh Omid at the construction site of the hospital. Maryam Marashi spoke about the construction project of the 540-bed pediatric hospital. Abolhasan Miremadi, a consultant of the project also made a speech referring to the hospital as an infrastructural project. "Considering the assistance of French teams in this project, the hospital would be equipped with modern information system and would be constructed based on international standards.
