Saba, a four-year-old kid suffering from dystrophy, used to have trouble swallowing and breathing. Some of Dystrophic patients like her suffer from facial, oral and pharynx motor disorders. Lack of sufficient nutrition and enough Oxygen during child’s growth period can result in serious consequences. Upon her diagnosis, Zanjireh Omid charity had her attend 20 sessions of Speech-therapy which produced favorable results. Her breathing and swallowing have improved significantly and they function coordinately. Early treatment of this disease is vital.
