Zanjireh Omid International Charity celebrates World Charity Day

September 5th has been designated by the United Nations as International Day of Charity in memory of Mother Teresa.

September 5th  is the day of renewal of the covenant with all social activists, charities and citizens, so that they can all work together to build a better world for all human beings.

Every year on this day, numerous ceremonies and celebrations are held, the most important purpose of which is to inform and encourage people to do good deeds and help their kind and culture in the field of humanitarian activities and social responsibility.

On this day, in addition to encouraging other people in the community to this type of activity, to encourage and appreciate some donors or hard-working and successful charities, appreciation is done and it is also a great opportunity to raise public awareness about charitable events and social responsibility that has taken place internationally and on a global scale.

Zanjireh Omid International Charity has started its activity since July 2007 and provides its medical services to children under the age of 18 at the lowest cost paid by sponsors, regardless of religion, race or nationality, and in accordance with international standards in three cardiac, orthopedic and restorative fields. Since its foundation, more than 14,000 children with orthopedic, cardiac and reconstructive diseases from all over the country have undergone subspecialty surgery and treatment by this institute.

Zanjireh Omid is the first charitable organization that has a sub-specialized team of Iranian and international physicians and one of the important indicators of the activities of this organization is the significant reduction of treatment costs with the highest standard of quality treatment and in addition to several important medical achievements for the first time in Iran, it is also establishing the largest subspecialty children's hospital in Iran and the Middle East.

To support Zanjireh Omid or other charities, there are many ways to help and philanthropy, regardless of how much time people have or how much they can afford to volunteer, especially its importance and role as a civic responsibility. Can be felt more than ever in the face of pervasive crises.

As in the last two years, despite the corona virus pandemic, the need for national unity and cohesion has emerged more than ever, and we are especially witnessing how our medical staff is compassionately committed to the treatment and lives of patients, despite the crisis. The corona has lasted for a long time, but we still see that they are fighting with all their might on the front lines for the health of the citizens.

Meanwhile, the staff, medical staff and volunteer doctors of Zanjireh Omid Charity have not stopped in this critical situation and have continued to work.

Regardless of this corona period, every year other charities in Iran and around the world work to improve the living conditions of the needy, orphaned or abused children, refugees, the sick and animals, and with their activities reach millions of living beings (whether human or animal). Or plant) give hope and life again. But on this particular day, the United Nations invites all member states, international and regional organizations, non-governmental (non-profit) organizations and citizens around the world to encourage and contribute to philanthropic work in the community in commemoration of World Charity Day to raise public awareness of the event.

The United Nations recognizes the importance of eradicating poverty in all its forms as part of the Sustainable Development Program, and in the light of global solidarity, seeks to best address the needs of the world's poorest and most vulnerable citizens and the role of the private sector in Recognize the support of various organizations that are responsible for humanitarian efforts.

There is poverty all over the world, from powerful industrialized countries to developing countries, and it continues to affect the lives of millions and hinder the prosperity and equality of human beings.
