Opening of Zanjireh Omid Winter Charity Bazaar

Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute organized a charity bazaar for the benefit of needy children with medical conditions.

The winter charity of Zanjireh Omid International Charity institute was held from Feb. 12 to Feb. 14 at East and West Gallery of Milad Tower.

The winter charity bazaar was declared open by the opening speech of the guest of honor, Mrs. Imaniyeh, the spouse of Iran's foreign minister and Mrs. Marashi, the managing director of Zanjireh Omid Charity Institute on Wednesday Feb. 12, 2020.

Various local enterprises including: Haraz Dairy Products, Datees Furniture, Golestan, Iwar Travel Agency, Balca Tea, SAM café, Aliasqar Charity, Lotus, Hejab Momtaz, Roshanak Gerami, EOW, Delfiore, Moti Garment, Medilan Shop, India Art Gallery, Tabasom Gallery, Diara, Dr. Injas Social Network; and international organizations such as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Diplomatic Ladies Association (DLA), Diplomatic Ladies and Spouses Group (DLSG), and Indian Embassy participated as exhibitors at this winter bazaar.

Various handicrafts from Iran, India, and Afghanistan; accessories; makeup products; garments, handbags; home décors; dairy products; dried fruits and nuts; food products; homemade meals; cookies etc. were displayed at this event- not to mention that the homemade food and cookie booth of Zanjireh Omid was well received by visitors.

There were puppet show, storytelling, fun games, and children's contest run by "Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young." Mr. Badkoobe, the general director of Badkoobe Agency hosted raffle draw and prize giving ceremony every night; moreover, the Live Bazaar Radio and songs performance fostered a warm atmosphere throughout the bazaar.

The highlights of this event include the visits of Mr. Freijsen, UNHCR representative, the ambassador of Spain, the economic deputy of France embassy and the staff members of Japan, Australia and Afghanistan.

All the proceeds of rental, homemade food sales , coffee shop and other sponsor products of Zanjireh Omid at the charity bazaar, which aimed to raise funds and introduce the medical activities of the institute, particularly the construction project of 540-bed pediatric hospital, go to support the medical treatment of children served by the institute .

Zanjireh Omid's team extends their gratitude to Municipality of Tehran, Milad Tower Complex, Ms. Monesan, other individuals and organizations (including Sabacell for advertising the event on social networks) who supported Zanjireh Omid, and we hope there comes a day that no child in the country ever needs Zanjireh Omid.
